Arkadiusz Smolarek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Chaime in the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match América-SC F.C. got a corner. Sportivo Ben Hur's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Altuğ Vakkasoğlu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Altuğ Vakkasoğlu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Montrell Harrell quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 14 minutes into the match, Resul Erdemalp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Montrell Harrell. Sportivo Ben Hur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Resul Erdemalp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Sportivo Ben Hur's goal looked a bit too open when Resul Erdemalp came free, but Montrell Harrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arkadiusz Smolarek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Délio Toledo in the 25th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Hagi in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arkadiusz Smolarek saved América-SC F.C. from getting behind. Montrell Harrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Resul Erdemalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Witalis Maruda hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Sportivo Ben Hur's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Arce came free, but Montrell Harrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lucas Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. América-SC F.C. were winning 1-2.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. América-SC F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
