Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jardel Nóbrega took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Domingos Lencastre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gremio Viana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Lencastre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Téo Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingos Lencastre in the 9th minute. Gremio Viana's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adalberto Leite in the 10th minute. Gremio Viana's Adalberto Leite was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Téo Silva in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Domingos Lencastre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Téo Silva having to make a save. Domingos Lencastre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Téo Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingos Lencastre in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Gremio Viana's Domingos Lencastre ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Téo Silva. Téo Silva yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Domingos Lencastre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th match minute, Gremio Viana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Cordera to maneuver through the defense. Téo Silva made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Domingos Lencastre sent off a good shot on target. Domingos Lencastre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Domingos Lencastre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingos Lencastre to make the kick off. Téo Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Lencastre in the 50th minute of play. Gremio Viana's Tony Påk got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Fiúza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Isidoro in the 53rd minute of the match. The throw-in from Carlos Engels in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gremio Viana's Adalberto Leite. 59 minutes into the match, Pereiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Lencastre came free, but Téo Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pereiras FC's goalkeeper Téo Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from Marcinho de Senna in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gremio Viana's Amado Melo. Domingos Lencastre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pereiras FC's Téo Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Lencastre in the 71st minute of play. Téo Silva came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gremio Viana's Domingos Lencastre. But to his dismay, Domingos Lencastre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Tony Påk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 78 minutes into the game, Gremio Viana's Domingos Lencastre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Téo Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Gremio Viana's Joaquim Paredes was substituted for Domingos Lencastre. In the 85th minute, Amado Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Gremio Viana booed when Pereiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcinho de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gremio Viana's Joaquim Paredes in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pereiras FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Joaquim Paredes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gremio Viana's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Paredes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Téo Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Téo Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Paredes in the 93rd minute of the match. Joaquim Paredes took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Téo Silva. Téo Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Pereiras FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
