The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's zone, Niculae Şantău stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Ofelio came out of the goal and Niculae Şantău tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 4th minute, Ferdi Bomba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serafin Ofelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederik Dhondt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's Serafin Ofelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Alexe in the 7th minute of play. Niculae Şantău hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's Cipriano Orlo got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Percival de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vadim Tudor hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Nistor Maghiar came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's Ferdi Bomba. But to his dismay, Ferdi Bomba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Nistor Maghiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Bomba in the 18th minute of play. lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's Serafin Ofelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederik Dhondt in the 20th minute of play. Cipriano Orlo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Nistor Maghiar made a huge save. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Allan Shearer sped through lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Serafin Ofelio. Serafin Ofelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niculae Şantău, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Ihintza hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Nistor Maghiar made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Ferdi Bomba sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute, Niculae Şantău made a precise shot to the right of Serafin Ofelio. lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Serafin Ofelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Alexe, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After some careless play in the lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc defense, Allan Shearer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafin Ofelio. The lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafin Ofelio should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Shearer in the 46th minute of play forced lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's goalkeeper Serafin Ofelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Minerul Baita -MM- were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Orlo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nistor Maghiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Bieito in the 51st minute of the match. Nistor Maghiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdi Bomba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nistor Maghiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Xalo Camara was substituted for Gordon Miner. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Vadim Tudor got a free kick in the 77th minute. Serafin Ofelio was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Niculae Şantău capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niculae Şantău really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Vlad Tepes replaced Ciprian Alexe. The supporters of lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc booed when Minerul Baita -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vadim Tudor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Ferdi Bomba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Maghiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's goalkeeper Serafin Ofelio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frederik Dhondt. When the match was over Minerul Baita -MM- could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc throughout the match.
