Clóvis Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Bastos having to interfere. Adrianinho Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. David Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clóvis Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AM United's David Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Chaves in the 19th minute of play. In the 19th minute Baltazar Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of OxentePaisa Salcity booed when AM United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Christou didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Chaves in the 22nd minute of play forced AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Florin Chiriloaie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Clóvis Queiroz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Bastos was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Nikos Christou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesto Daniel Justiniano charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Daniel Justiniano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 35 minutes into the match, AM United's goal looked a bit too open when Clóvis Queiroz came free, but David Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Queirós in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Nikos Christou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AM United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikos Christou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, AM United's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Daniel Justiniano came free, but David Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

With a little luck, AM United's David Bastos got control of the ball when Clóvis Queiroz tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Chaves in the 61st minute of play forced AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Florin Chiriloaie in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AM United's Jorge Morais. Angelo Pessoa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anderson Hoffmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Angelo Pessoa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anderson Hoffmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. David Bastos made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Clóvis Queiroz sent off a good shot on target. Adrianinho Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the OxentePaisa Salcity players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AM United.
