With a little luck, Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos got control of the ball when Kurt Angel tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner ended in Christian Castillo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos did a great save. Pieter Theissen hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Ted Stroobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziya Di Maria in the 19th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ziya Di Maria in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ted Stroobos saved Albertus FC from getting behind. 21 minutes into the game, Buenaventura FC's Ziya Di Maria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ted Stroobos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Ziya Di Maria dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ted Stroobos, 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Bock came free, but Ted Stroobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Bock in the 30th minute of play forced Albertus FC's goalkeeper Ted Stroobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes of play, Buenaventura FC's Rigoberto Lozano made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ted Stroobos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ziya Di Maria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Walter Bock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ted Stroobos. Albertus FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walter Bock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walter Bock was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Albertus FC defense, Walter Bock kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ted Stroobos. The Albertus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ted Stroobos should have stopped the shot. Kurt Angel kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Ted Stroobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Bock, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Walter Bock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buenaventura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter Bock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Walter Bock made a precise shot to the right of Ted Stroobos. Albertus FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Ted Stroobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Bock in the 68th minute of play. Ted Stroobos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Lozano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Lozano came free, but Ted Stroobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walter Bock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ted Stroobos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 minutes, Walter Bock made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Buenaventura FC's Carlos Eduardo Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Buenaventura FC from getting a goal against them. Walter Bock scored 9-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ted Stroobos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 94 minutes, Ziya Di Maria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buenaventura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ziya Di Maria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Buenaventura FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
