The corner led to FC Lutanu's Octav Romaşcanu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Rigoberto Lozano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Irinel Soneriu firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Șerban Negulici in the 17th minute of play forced Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, FC Lutanu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Joita to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Rodolfo Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Soneriu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantin Istrătescu ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Buenaventura FC had won after a very even match.
