In the 20th minute, Beto Breckenfeld ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ted Stroobos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Michel Oss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Fabrício Falcão made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Albertus FC's Fabrício Falcão threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arnold Hemmen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 29th match minute, Albertus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels Zwart to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the game, Beto Breckenfeld cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ted Stroobos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 35 played minutes Jurupeba FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Augusto Maranhense. Jurupeba FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Michel Oss scored to the left of an out of position Fabrício Falcão, making the score, 1-4. 39 minutes into the match, Martin Minchev notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos. Ted Stroobos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jurupeba FC's Fabrício Falcão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Jurupeba FC from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the game, Jurupeba FC's Beto Breckenfeld nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ted Stroobos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Zhou Kang Cheng might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabrício Falcão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zhou Kang Cheng ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Jurupeba FC were leading 1-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beto Breckenfeld stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Niels Zwart was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 51 minutes into the match. Jurupeba FC's Fabrício Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Oss in the 60th minute of play. Ted Stroobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Breckenfeld in the 66th minute of the match. Michel Oss struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Fabrício Falcão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albertus FC. When Michel Oss came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Albertus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Oss couldn't finish the play. Arnold Hemmen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabrício Falcão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Beto Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Warman de Jager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out.
