Silvestre Peli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's Godfried Teunens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ismael Toscano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silvestre Peli had in the 38thth minute some difficulties stopping Rony Félix's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Rodriguinho Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Sun Yuan Zheng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Félix in the 47th minute of play. The La Bichineta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Crisólia FBPA were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godfried Teunens to make the kick off. The Crisólia FBPA fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Crisólia FBPA's Ernani Baiano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael Toscano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silvestre Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernani Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the La Bichineta defense, Rony Félix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvestre Peli. The La Bichineta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvestre Peli should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goal looked a bit too open when Ernani Baiano came free, but Silvestre Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute of the match Lucas Beltran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvestre Peli skillfully saved the ball.
