In the 17th minute Enzo Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Cisquella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hieronim Mentis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grant Groves in the 20th minute. Marcial Cisquella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Wnukowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
