Iacob Povară was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After taking down the ball on F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's corner Silviu Latarețu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vladan Kovačević quite easily take care of the ball. Olimpia HSB's Vladan Kovačević played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Găman in the 26th minute of play. Alfonso Nastasio got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luca Pancu. Olimpia HSB's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. After a defensive mix-up in Olimpia HSB's zone, Iosif Găman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladan Kovačević came out of the goal and Iosif Găman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomáš Petrásek hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Vladan Kovačević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosif Găman, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Czeszejko was the one to do the kick off.
