Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nuno do Nascimento took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, Vila Mascote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Castro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Vaz in the 6th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Eutropio charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silverio Eutropio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisinho Trevisan got free with Tony Guimarães in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nuno do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Guimarães having to interfere. Tony Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Magno Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Everardo Rio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everardo Rio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magno Vaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodoro Primo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Atlanta's zone, Magno Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony Guimarães came out of the goal and Magno Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Magno Vaz in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tony Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Grady Esposito took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tony Guimarães to make any attempt to save it. In the 37th minute Grady Esposito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grady Esposito in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno do Nascimento got free with Tony Guimarães in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tony Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Natã Castro in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Vaz in the 44th minute of play forced C. A. William Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Primo to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Atlanta's zone, Nuno do Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony Guimarães came out of the goal and Nuno do Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55thth minute of the game Nuno do Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tony Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno do Nascimento in the 57th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Vaz came free, but Tony Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Vaz in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno do Nascimento in the 73rd minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute of the match Vila Mascote FC got a corner. C. A. Atlanta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luisinho Trevisan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luisinho Trevisan made a great header on Vila Mascote FC's corner, it was just that C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 87th minute, Federico Gil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Eliseo Sasoin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving William Rosa. That made the score 1-1 in the 92 minute of play. After 95 minutes, Kaká Mota made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vila Mascote FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while C. A. Atlanta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
