After 12 played minutes Foot Ball Club di Roma got a freekick which was hit by Gianluca Mancini. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norbert Major in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Pardini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Darko Pančev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Pardini having to interfere. Norbert Major might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Pardini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norbert Major ran back to his position shaking his head. Biagio Scoca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sebastião Xoxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Doris's late challenge caught a Foot Ball Club di Roma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Doris helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pogoń Szczecin getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Anselmo Doris hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Biagio Scoca in the 35th minute of play forced Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Sebastião Xoxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastião Xoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biagio Scoca, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Pogoń Szczecin's Sebastião Xoxe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Pogoń Szczecin from getting a goal against them. Alvaro Pardini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Major, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Norbert Major cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alvaro Pardini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Sebastião Xoxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Di Marco in the 56th minute of the match. Pogoń Szczecin's Sebastião Xoxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niccolo Zaniolo in the 58th minute of play. Alvaro Pardini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norbert Major in the 61st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Pogoń Szczecin's Norbert Major slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alvaro Pardini. That made the score 0-2 after 63 minutes of play. Foot Ball Club di Roma's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Conrado Donzel ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Conrado Donzel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alvaro Pardini quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 84 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Di Marco came free, but Sebastião Xoxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Alvaro Pardini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Major in the 87th minute of play. If Norbert Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alvaro Pardini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norbert Major in the 89th minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Norbert Major managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pogoń Szczecin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Major was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stefanos Stefanopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Foot Ball Club di Roma supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pogoń Szczecin's performance. The match ended with a win for Pogoń Szczecin.
