With a little luck, Rega Merida CF's Konstanty Wawro got control of the ball when Frank Lampard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jedrzej Seliga charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jedrzej Seliga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hacı Ali Ademoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonello Messias in the 15th minute of play. The tension between the Tavaklı İskelesi FC and the Rega Merida CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rega Merida CF reached it. Hacı Ali Ademoğlu came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Rega Merida CF's Cemal Palabıyık. But to his dismay, Cemal Palabıyık quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hacı Ali Ademoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonello Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Leonello Messias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rega Merida CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 36th minute Cemal Palabıyık shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hacı Ali Ademoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hacı Ali Ademoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonello Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kajetan Winograd took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hacı Ali Ademoğlu. Hacı Ali Ademoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Nistor Sârban blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hacı Ali Ademoğlu having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nistor Sârban to make the kick off. Hacı Ali Ademoğlu was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Leonello Messias capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonello Messias really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Ersen Durmus hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Hacı Ali Ademoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Hacı Ali Ademoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lech Matela in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Rahmi Abdulhakimoğlu in the 68th minute of play forced Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Konstanty Wawro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonello Messias might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hacı Ali Ademoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonello Messias ran back to his position shaking his head. Rega Merida CF's Wasyl Dziurowicz was substituted for Leonello Messias. Rega Merida CF's La Piszczek was substituted for Filcho Dzhagarov. Tavaklı İskelesi FC made a substitution. Asım Üstek replaced Hüseyin Rahmi Abdulhakimoğlu. Wasyl Dziurowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Frank Lampard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 played minutes Tavaklı İskelesi FC got a freekick which was hit by Poyraz İhtişam. After 85 played minutes Rega Merida CF got a freekick which was hit by Karol Swiderski. Wasyl Dziurowicz scored 0-8 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hacı Ali Ademoğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Konstanty Wawro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jedrzej Seliga, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dinç Tardu during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hacı Ali Ademoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wasyl Dziurowicz in the 95th minute. When the match was over Rega Merida CF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tavaklı İskelesi FC throughout the match.
