Jeronimo Gines had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Joaquin Isoba's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Albertinho Teles's late challenge caught a Maravilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albertinho Teles helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Callegari's Albertinho Teles got a free kick in the 18th minute. Cruz Credo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Telmo Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cruz Credo in the 23rd minute of the match. Maravilla were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Callegari's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. César de Senna took the corner. 31 minutes into the game, Cruz Credo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Telmo Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cruz Credo to make the kick off. Paulus Van Poucke hit a great ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Eduardo Guerrero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maravilla's Jeronimo Gines was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eduardo Guerrero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeronimo Gines having to make a save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
