El Millo de Haedo's Fernando Ruisko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save El Millo de Haedo from getting a goal against them. A collision led to ŠK Horelica getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Zdeno Kríž hit a great ball. Ondrej Poliovka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Fernando Ruisko made a huge save. After 32 played minutes El Millo de Haedo got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Rosio. In the 33rdth minute of the game Ibai Koldobika who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Millo de Haedo's Fernando Ruisko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ibai Koldobika got free with Fernando Ruisko in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the game, Remigio Uhin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Millo de Haedo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ŠK Horelica the free kick. The audience was convinced that Hernán Crespo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Černoch was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. El Millo de Haedo's Fernando Ruisko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ibai Koldobika in the 47th minute of play. ŠK Horelica were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after El Millo de Haedo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filip Seman took the corner. After taking down the ball on ŠK Horelica's corner Stanislav Hudek fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fernando Ruisko quite easily take care of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ibai Koldobika to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Ibai Koldobika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Ruisko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 played minutes ŠK Horelica got a freekick which was hit by Ondrej Poliovka. 64 minutes into the match, El Millo de Haedo's goal looked a bit too open when Ibai Koldobika came free, but Fernando Ruisko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernán Crespo in the 65th minute of play forced ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper Gabriel Černoch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zdeno Kríž during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ibai Koldobika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Ruisko having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, El Millo de Haedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Urtun to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Ruisko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ibai Koldobika's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. ŠK Horelica's Ibai Koldobika got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. El Millo de Haedo succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though ŠK Horelica had controlled the match.
