Júlio Teles hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Estrellas de Caballito's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Abreu came free, but Esteve Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, S.C.CHUÍ's Caetano Paranaense got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Esteve Blanco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C.CHUÍ. In the 88thth minute of the game Eusébio Da Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C.CHUÍ's Armando Cerezo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caetano Paranaense's late challenge caught a Estrellas de Caballito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caetano Paranaense helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Estrellas de Caballito booed when S.C.CHUÍ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to S.C.CHUÍ getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Caetano Paranaense hit a great ball. Omar Gelmiro took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Cerezo. Armando Cerezo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The Estrellas de Caballito players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
