The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Strib Galacticos IF booed when El ultimo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Venceslas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Strib Galacticos IF's Felix Fanøe in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Strib Galacticos IF fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Strib Galacticos IF's Mads Aarum looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Strib Galacticos IF's Janich Sodborg got control of the ball when Vasile Pisculescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute Mads Aarum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tao Cheng Zhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Strib Galacticos IF's Janich Sodborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Ignatius in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Luis Bemabe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Janich Sodborg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Ramon Ignatius sped through Strib Galacticos IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Janich Sodborg. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ke Xiang got free with Janich Sodborg in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felix Fanøe was the one to do the kick off. Felix Fanøe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Tao Cheng Zhi made a huge save. Ramon Ignatius kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Felix Fanøe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute, Vasile Pisculescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Janich Sodborg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 73rd minute of the match Strib Galacticos IF got a corner. El ultimo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Berbiz ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Qu Fan Yang managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The supporters of El ultimo booed when Strib Galacticos IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Östensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Janich Sodborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasile Pisculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Strib Galacticos IF's Janich Sodborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Pisculescu in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute Ke Xiang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janich Sodborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramon Ignatius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. El ultimo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
