With a little luck, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Grant Moco got control of the ball when Mitch Dekens tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goalkeeper Grant Moco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Grant Moco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Nordin's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Orihuela Club de Fútbol made a substitution. Mihăiţă Florescu replaced Júlio Britto. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desiderio Perutxo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mitch Dekens might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grant Moco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mitch Dekens ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Desiderio Perutxo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aaron Inge was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Grant Moco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mitch Dekens went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice moves Godofredo Echavarri could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Aaron Inge however easily saved by the left post. 82 minutes into the match, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goal looked a bit too open when Mitch Dekens came free, but Grant Moco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waffem Fc's Eugenio Rio got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Waffem Fc's goalkeeper Aaron Inge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godofredo Echavarri. In the 93rd minute, Mitch Dekens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Waffem Fc had won after a very even match.
