Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 5 minutes into the match, JFSP's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Manni came free, but Moisés Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, SSC Meno Male's Amos Colagrossi got control of the ball when Paulinho Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amos Colagrossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugênio Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 17th minute, Felipe Manni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SSC Meno Male fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Felipe Manni fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SSC Meno Male's protests and gave Felipe Manni a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SSC Meno Male getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Felipe Manni hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Gaston Venceslao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moisés Novaes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. JFSP's Moisés Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Venceslao in the 34th minute of play. Felipe Manni took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moisés Novaes. Moisés Novaes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Moisés Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Manni in the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaston Venceslao stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Moisés Novaes made a fantastic save in the 50th minute, when Felipe Manni sent off a good shot on target. In the 53rd minute of the match, Melchor Lopez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Moisés Novaes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Lopez in the 59th minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Moisés Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. JFSP's Jeferson Aguiar was substituted for Kārlis Straubegs. Amos Colagrossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Zanette in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute Melchor Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute Gaston Venceslao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, JFSP's Rubinho Zanette sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amos Colagrossi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juanfran Gentenaar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amos Colagrossi having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Venceslao in the 80th minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Moisés Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, JFSP's Paulinho Batista got a free kick in the 81st minute. Moisés Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Praporgescu in the 84th minute of play. Moisés Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Venceslao, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The supporters of SSC Meno Male booed when JFSP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Melchor Lopez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Moisés Novaes. Melchor Lopez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in SSC Meno Male's zone, Juanfran Gentenaar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amos Colagrossi came out of the goal and Juanfran Gentenaar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. JFSP's Moisés Novaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save JFSP from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded SSC Meno Male left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than JFSP.
