Moisés Novaes was a little too slow when Fulvio Muzzolon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Fulvio Grande received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Moisés Novaes came out and tried to block the shot, but Fulvio Grande slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 23rd minute. In the 30th minute of the match, Alvaro Lupi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Moisés Novaes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulinho Batista in the 35th minute of play forced S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalkeeper Achille Albanesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moisés Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Grande in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, JFSP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Ekelund to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the JFSP defense, Fulvio Grande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Moisés Novaes. The JFSP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moisés Novaes should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Lupi in the 93rd minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Moisés Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
