After some careless play in the JFSP defense, Gugu de Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Moisés Novaes. The JFSP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moisés Novaes should have stopped the shot. Moisés Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. JFSP's Eugênio Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu de Mendonça in the 33rd minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Moisés Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moisés Novaes made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Gugu de Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. Road To Glory were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after JFSP's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gugu de Mendonça took the corner. The corner ended in Gao Xing Zhen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but JFSP's Moisés Novaes did a great save. Moisés Novaes was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Gugu de Mendonça capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gugu de Mendonça really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0.

The wind increased when Gugu de Mendonça made the kick off in the second half. If Gugu de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Road To Glory's Gugu de Mendonça in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Eugênio Paiva hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gugu de Mendonça in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moisés Novaes saved JFSP from getting behind. Road To Glory's Ibo Cimillo got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. JFSP's Moisés Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu de Mendonça in the 90th minute of play. Moisés Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
