Rodrigo Ely didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavinho Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roni Coryn in the 6th minute of play. Bacardi FC's Leo Dauwen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Saad in the 8th minute of play. Leo Dauwen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Saad in the 8th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoud Van Gestel came free, but Flavinho Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Flavinho Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roni Coryn. In the 15th minute Bob Leerbels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Emil Fărcășan. Caetano Saad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Mauricio Bitxintxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roni Coryn's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Flavinho Reis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leo Iigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Dauwen having to interfere. A hard shot 33 in the game by Bob Leerbels from a close distance when the talented Flavinho Reis managed to make a qualified save. CE LAJEADENSE RS's players were relieved. After 35 minutes, Roni Coryn made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roni Coryn in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavinho Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bacardi FC's Leo Dauwen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bater Palma in the 46th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Caetano Saad got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bater Palma was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Leo Dauwen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Martins. Waldemar Custódio kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Caetano Saad took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leo Dauwen. Bacardi FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoud Van Gestel in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Leerbels came free, but Flavinho Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavinho Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roni Coryn in the 61st minute of play. In the 61st minute Arnoud Van Gestel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charlie Vercalsteren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Flavinho Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute Roni Coryn suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Bacardi FC made a substitution. Maurice Vissenakens replaced Roni Coryn. In the 76th match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Bitxintxo to maneuver through the defense. Flavinho Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurice Vissenakens in the 87th minute of the match. After some careless play in the CE LAJEADENSE RS defense, Arnoud Van Gestel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavinho Reis. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavinho Reis should have stopped the shot. Bater Palma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Leo Dauwen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Bacardi FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
