An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob Leerbels in the 10th minute of play forced FC Acatar's goalkeeper Ekhemos Kezdoglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bacardi FC's Charlie Vercalsteren got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Roni Coryn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ekhemos Kezdoglou was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Ekhemos Kezdoglou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roni Coryn's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. FC Acatar's Alin Chiru quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roy Voet, made in the 32nd minute of the game. 34 minutes into the game, Roni Coryn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ekhemos Kezdoglou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Roni Coryn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, Paul Taşcu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Acatar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bacardi FC the free kick. A collision led to FC Acatar getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Paul Taşcu hit a great ball. Boruc Wykowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ekhemos Kezdoglou. FC Acatar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Bacardi FC booed when FC Acatar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Martin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The FC Acatar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bacardi FC were winning 0-1.

Ekhemos Kezdoglou made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Bob Leerbels sent off a good shot on target. After 63 played minutes FC Acatar got a freekick which was hit by Florin Martin. In the 69th minute, Constantin Bâlea made a precise shot to the right of Leo Dauwen. Bacardi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Roni Coryn's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Ekhemos Kezdoglou skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. FC Acatar's Ekhemos Kezdoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoud Van Gestel in the 74th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Boruc Wykowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constantin Bâlea struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Leo Dauwen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Acatar. Arnoud Van Gestel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ekhemos Kezdoglou came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnoud Van Gestel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 88th minute. Waldemar Custódio kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The FC Acatar fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bacardi FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
