Rigan Frankson started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute Rigan Frankson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Agurto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of 1948 MKS booed when Flamengo de San Blás was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Chavez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Chavez struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Ter Stegen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo de San Blás. Flamengo de San Blás's Ramon Agurto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigan Frankson in the 18th minute of play. Gabriel Chavez took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ter Stegen. Ter Stegen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With an all-out effort, Flamengo de San Blás's Ter Stegen threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gabriel Chavez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 32 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's Rigan Frankson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramon Agurto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo-Henrique Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Ter Stegen made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Mindykowski got free with Ter Stegen in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th match minute, 1948 MKS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ersin Uyguralp to maneuver through the defense. Flamengo de San Blás's Paulo-Henrique Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Gabriel Chavez made the kick off in the second half. 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Chavez in the 51st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Çakabey Sirer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramon Agurto was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. A collision led to 1948 MKS getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Totín Garcia De Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Torrey Molloy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Torrey Molloy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Ramon Agurto made a huge save. Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Mindykowski in the 88th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Flamengo de San Blás players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
