The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gheorghe Hagi during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Gheorghe Hagi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flamengo de San Blás's Ramon Agurto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miltos Kotsovolos in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiktor Dropinski got free with Ramon Agurto in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute Herbert Mindykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Romanescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Pegasas Siauliai's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulo-Henrique Barros was slow to take the kick. During this time Flamengo de San Blás's players had a chance to rest. Gabriel Chavez made a great header on Flamengo de San Blás's corner, it was just that FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pavel Romanescu managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Pavel Romanescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Shaun Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Pavel Romanescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Mindykowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wiktor Dropinski to make the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Miromir Bilicki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamengo de San Blás's Ramon Agurto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 54th match minute, Flamengo de San Blás was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gheorghe Hagi to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Flamengo de San Blás's Paulo-Henrique Barros got a free kick in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the game, FC Pegasas Siauliai's Wiktor Dropinski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramon Agurto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artemio Quiroga in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Agurto saved Flamengo de San Blás from getting behind. Ramon Agurto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wiktor Dropinski went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miltos Kotsovolos in the 64th minute of play forced Flamengo de San Blás's goalkeeper Ramon Agurto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Flamengo de San Blás getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Fidel Frederik hit a great ball. Ramon Agurto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Quiroga in the 66th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Artemio Quiroga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramon Agurto. Flamengo de San Blás's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artemio Quiroga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Flamengo de San Blás's attentive Rolando Henriguez managed to snatch the ball when Juras Tolvaiša made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Flamengo de San Blás's Leonidas Aizprua was substituted for Fidel Frederik. The supporters of Flamengo de San Blás booed when FC Pegasas Siauliai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Torstensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pavel Romanescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Mindykowski in the 77th minute of play. Miltos Kotsovolos took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramon Agurto. Ramon Agurto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Ramon Agurto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Quiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Chavez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pavel Romanescu having to make a save. Ramon Agurto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miltos Kotsovolos, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Wiktor Dropinski struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Ramon Agurto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pegasas Siauliai. Ramon Agurto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miromir Bilicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Pegasas Siauliai walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
