Beek City's attentive Miroslaw Hetman managed to snatch the ball when Desiderio Elias made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. Naldo Roig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Hendrickx in the 12th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marciano Hendrickx in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naldo Roig saved Picanya FC from getting behind. Marciano Hendrickx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Naldo Roig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Heiko Sibon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Picanya FC defense, Marciano Hendrickx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Naldo Roig. The Picanya FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Naldo Roig should have stopped the shot. In the 32ndth minute of the game Gaskon Gimeno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beek City's Arian Beqaj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heiko Sibon got free with Naldo Roig in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Naldo Roig didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marciano Hendrickx went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 46th minute, Marciano Hendrickx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Naldo Roig was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marciano Hendrickx to make the kick off. Picanya FC's Hori Aranzubia was substituted for Ugaitz Silva. Naldo Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heiko Sibon in the 70th minute of play.
