Gilberto Moreno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 13 minutes into the match, ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Diguinho Tinoco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zoran Simović narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victoriano Iratzeder in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 63 minutes, Victoriano Iratzeder made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Gilberto Moreno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. That made the score 0-8 after 76 minutes of play. 78 minutes into the match, ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Iratzeder came free, but Gilberto Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80thth minute of the game Victoriano Iratzeder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Gilberto Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Den Barraclough was slow to take the kick. During this time 17 de enero team's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Den Barraclough almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Gilberto Moreno did a great save. Gilberto Moreno came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by 17 de enero team's Joel Gamus. But to his dismay, Joel Gamus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Iratzeder in the 95th minute of play forced ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's goalkeeper Gilberto Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
