Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Masao Koriotto 11 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Melchor Calixto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Theo Hayles in the 14th minute. The corner led Club Sportivo Italiano's Luisito Bikendi to fire away a dangerous shot which Melchor Calixto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Carlos Sevenants fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Stephen having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Evelio Pes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melchor Calixto. Cachiyuyo EAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evelio Pes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Melchor Calixto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Masao Koriotto, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Melchor Calixto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Claris in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Theo Hayles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Melchor Calixto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evelio Pes was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Cachiyuyo EAS's Reynaldo Stephen threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Honorio Telesforo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Melchor Calixto was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Cachiyuyo EAS's Eleuterio Joachim got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo Italiano's Theo Hayles got a free kick in the 66th minute. Melchor Calixto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Pes in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Theo Hayles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Sportivo Italiano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Theo Hayles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Calixto having to interfere. A collision led to Cachiyuyo EAS getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Eleuterio Joachim hit a great ball. Masao Koriotto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Cachiyuyo EAS defense, Theo Hayles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melchor Calixto. The Cachiyuyo EAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melchor Calixto should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Telesforo in the 90th minute of play forced Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Reynaldo Stephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 minutes, Vicente Hurko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cachiyuyo EAS and the Club Sportivo Italiano players grew even worse after the yellow card.
