In the 17th minute Preator Edikt were awarded a corner. Luís Gustavo Barbosa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Preator Edikt's Luís Gustavo Barbosa to fire away a dangerous shot which Diki Doro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 19th minute Emil Wielopolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Pihlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Jenaro got a throw-in 22 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Primitivo Grau. 23 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Pihlberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Preator Edikt's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torbjörn Nilsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Preator Edikt made a substitution. Stig-Ove Blomqvist replaced Torbjörn Nilsson. Jan Pihlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Zhao Sen Yang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jan Pihlberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Preator Edikt's Michael Stor was substituted for Horia Tătaru. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Grigore Maghiran replaced İlhami Akyazıcı. A collision led to Preator Edikt getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ceferino Totakoxe hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match Emil Wielopolski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Pihlberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Preator Edikt's Jan Pihlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 82nd minute of play. Diki Doro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Stor's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Jan Pihlberg came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang. But to his dismay, Zhao Sen Yang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Jan Pihlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Grau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fellipe Vianna hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhao Sen Yang in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Pihlberg saved Preator Edikt from getting behind. Jan Pihlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Tilea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
