In the 16th minute, Dinu Bocu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hamburg Fighters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jan Pihlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dinu Bocu in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the game, Horia Tătaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Pavlos Konstantakakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Hamburg Fighters's Dinu Bocu in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Preator Edikt's Jan Pihlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Preator Edikt from getting a goal against them. Preator Edikt's Jan Pihlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianni Balla in the 43rd minute of play. In the 48th minute, Gianluca Balla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jan Pihlberg. The goal made the score 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dinu Bocu made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goal looked a bit too open when Gianluca Balla came free, but Jan Pihlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianni Balla in the 60th minute of play forced Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jan Pihlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Preator Edikt getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ashley Cole hit a great ball. Preator Edikt's Fellipe Vianna was substituted for Albert Örnberg. Michael Stor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pavlos Konstantakakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the match Preator Edikt got a corner. Hamburg Fighters's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After 74 minutes, Dinu Bocu made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Preator Edikt's Jan Pihlberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gianluca Balla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jan Pihlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Balla in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinu Bocu in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Pihlberg saved Preator Edikt from getting behind. Jan Pihlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianni Balla in the 84th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Michael Stor notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Hamburg Fighters's Pavlos Konstantakakis. Pavlos Konstantakakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinu Bocu in the 93rd minute of play forced Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jan Pihlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes of play, Hamburg Fighters's Dinu Bocu made it 7-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Pihlberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dinu Bocu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Jan Pihlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamburg Fighters's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
