Ove Glanselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Goiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Almaröds FF's Ove Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Gaxan in the 18th minute of play. Robert Söderlund hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ defense, Sebastian Arenstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvano Portillo. The ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvano Portillo should have stopped the shot. After 30 played minutes Almaröds FF got a freekick which was hit by Kent Anundsson. 31 minutes into the match, Prudencio Goiz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Almaröds FF's Ove Glanselius. Ove Glanselius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Prudencio Goiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ove Glanselius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Ove Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Goiz in the 39th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Almaröds FF got a freekick which was hit by Kent Anundsson. The supporters of ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ booed when Almaröds FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Arenstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Almaröds FF's Alex Påk got a free kick in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Goiz in the 49th minute of play forced Almaröds FF's goalkeeper Ove Glanselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Arenstedt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ove Glanselius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prudencio Goiz in the 54th minute. Dobromir Prokowski did an outstanding performance 63 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-3 to the right of an irritated Ove Glanselius in the goal. Saturnino Romo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saturnino Romo got free with Ove Glanselius in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Almaröds FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saturnino Romo took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Prospero Jobo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Saturnino Romo scored 1-4 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Glanselius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dobromir Prokowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Romo in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ove Glanselius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Almaröds FF's Ove Glanselius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Almaröds FF from getting a goal against them. Ove Glanselius made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Saturnino Romo sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, Flavio Migliorati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 played minutes, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Saturnino Romo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ove Glanselius came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ reached it. The audience was convinced that Saturnino Romo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ove Glanselius was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. 100 minutes into the game, Saturnino Romo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Ove Glanselius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
