In the 16thth minute of the game Sven-Edvin Jansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Toho's Tobias Glöden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Xu Liang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Feng Lin Jie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xu Liang in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nery Pumpido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Blank kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Nery Pumpido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feng Lin Jie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Xu Liang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson got a free kick in the 36th minute. A collision led to FC Toho getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Qi Sang Xiang hit a great ball. In the 43rd match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Máximo Perrone to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute of the match Jakop Sveinlaugsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nery Pumpido skillfully saved the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xu Liang to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xu Liang in the 53rd minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Christian Najarro in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Toho's Kristof Dülberg. In the 57th minute Feng Lin Jie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Feng Lin Jie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nery Pumpido was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 61st minute, FC Toho's Jonathan Blank ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nery Pumpido. Nery Pumpido yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. GuateFortín's Mario Gomez was substituted for Angel Alvarenga. GuateFortín made a substitution. Heriberto Correa replaced Roberto Trotta. GuateFortín's Stanyo Búnkov was substituted for Zico Zellier. Tobias Glöden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanyo Búnkov in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanyo Búnkov in the 68th minute of play forced FC Toho's goalkeeper Tobias Glöden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Stanyo Búnkov made a precise shot to the right of Tobias Glöden. FC Toho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 73 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Glöden was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Toho's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kristof Dülberg in the 78th minute. The corner ended in Kristof Dülberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido did a great save. After a rather tough play, FC Toho's Nelsinho da Mata got a free kick in the 81st minute. Nery Pumpido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xu Liang in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute Sven-Edvin Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Glöden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, FC Toho's goal looked a bit too open when Stanyo Búnkov came free, but Tobias Glöden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Toho defense, Stanyo Búnkov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Glöden. The FC Toho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Glöden should have stopped the shot. Nery Pumpido was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xu Liang showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 90 minute of play. Tobias Glöden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 93rd minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. GuateFortín were victorious despite being under pressure from FC Toho for much of the match.
