Mon Navarro Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateusz Sakowicz in the 12th minute of play. Leonides Rosio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Arne Rusterholz made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonides Rosio in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arne Rusterholz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Leonides Rosio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Rusterholz was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Re Loco's goalkeeper Arne Rusterholz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Rosio. In the 46th match minute, San Lorenzo de Sarandi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Atauri to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carles Artadi in the 47th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Mon Navarro Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateusz Sakowicz got free with Mon Navarro Montoya in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivan Errando replaced Venancio Piorno. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Re Loco's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Florencio Atauri was slow to take the kick. During this time San Lorenzo de Sarandi's players had a chance to rest. In the 63rdth minute of the game Ivan Errando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Re Loco's Arne Rusterholz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arne Rusterholz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Mon Navarro Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Lalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prospero Mergildo tried in the 80th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Mon Navarro Montoya a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-2. Carles Artadi came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mon Navarro Montoya could save by the left post. After some careless play in the Re Loco defense, Lorenzo Jerrold kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Rusterholz. The Re Loco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Rusterholz should have stopped the shot. Re Loco's Arne Rusterholz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Inko in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Re Loco's zone, Lorenzo Jerrold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Rusterholz came out of the goal and Lorenzo Jerrold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Errando in the 97th minute of play forced Re Loco's goalkeeper Arne Rusterholz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
