Romulo Jon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DREAM TEAM WORLD. 4 minutes into the match, André Luís Lessard notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of EL PEPO FC's Romulo Jon. Romulo Jon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. André Luís Lessard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Romulo Jon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Lessard, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Samuel Sotero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EL PEPO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DREAM TEAM WORLD the free kick. In the 12th match minute, EL PEPO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Sotero to maneuver through the defense. If André Luís Lessard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Romulo Jon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Luís Lessard went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. André Luís Lessard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute of the game Freddy Camerino made a throw-in which Anibal Beltxe played forward. André Luís Lessard might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romulo Jon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Luís Lessard ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 26th minute André Luís Lessard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Jon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, André Luís Lessard made a precise shot to the right of Romulo Jon. EL PEPO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luís Lessard in the 33rd minute of play forced EL PEPO FC's goalkeeper Romulo Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute André Luís Lessard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Jon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Luís Lessard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romulo Jon having to make a save. Romulo Jon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luís Lessard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that André Luís Lessard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romulo Jon was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. When Samuel Sotero was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. André Luís Lessard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The EL PEPO FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. DREAM TEAM WORLD were winning 0-3.

DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Andrzej Zapolski replaced André Luís Lessard. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elvio Rainerio was the one to do the kick off. The DREAM TEAM WORLD fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when DREAM TEAM WORLD's Andrzej Zapolski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Andrzej Zapolski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romulo Jon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Romulo Jon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Zapolski in the 61st minute of the match. Freddy Camerino charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddy Camerino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes EL PEPO FC got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Camerino. In the 66th minute, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Andrzej Zapolski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romulo Jon. Romulo Jon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Romulo Jon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andrzej Zapolski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 69 minute of play. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Wilfredo Cutberto was substituted for Elpidio Curcio. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Héctor Adomaitis was substituted for Paulo Jon. If Andrzej Zapolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the match, EL PEPO FC's goalkeeper Romulo Jon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrzej Zapolski. If Héctor Adomaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Armando Nevada suffered a concussion in the 78th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After some careless play in the EL PEPO FC defense, Andrzej Zapolski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Jon. The EL PEPO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Jon should have stopped the shot. Romulo Jon made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Andrzej Zapolski sent off a good shot on target. Andrzej Zapolski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Romulo Jon came out and tried to block the shot, but Andrzej Zapolski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 85th minute. If Andrzej Zapolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Zapolski in the 90th minute of play forced EL PEPO FC's goalkeeper Romulo Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of EL PEPO FC booed when DREAM TEAM WORLD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mendez Urquizu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, EL PEPO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor Adomaitis came free, but Romulo Jon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute, EL PEPO FC's Herminio Afonso seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Herminio Afonso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of EL PEPO FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Herminio Afonso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Romulo Jon had in the 100thth minute some difficulties stopping Héctor Adomaitis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. DREAM TEAM WORLD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luiz Fabiano Castro in the 101st minute. Luiz Fabiano Castro made a great header on DREAM TEAM WORLD's corner, it was just that EL PEPO FC's Romulo Jon managed to reach the ball for a save.
