Scarafia Ghost made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Gigel Elenescu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Amorebieta in the 11th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Go Ahead Eagles booed when Hertha 1969 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristian Oswald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Amorebieta in the 14th minute of play. Go Ahead Eagles's Scarafia Ghost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 15th minute of play. Scarafia Ghost took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fernando Amorebieta came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Go Ahead Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Amorebieta couldn't finish the play. Benedikt Bensch took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Scarafia Ghost. Scarafia Ghost dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Rune Jarstein stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iustin Bâru's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Scarafia Ghost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 36th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Bâru came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Amorebieta came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateusz Zabrzeski was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 61 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Amorebieta. In the 64th match minute, Hertha 1969 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Mayer to maneuver through the defense. Cássio Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Rune Jarstein made a huge save. After 66 played minutes Hertha 1969 got a freekick which was hit by Ziemowit Tscherner. Lothar Heber hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Lewandowski in the 72nd minute of the match. Erling Lewandowski scored 1-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rune Jarstein, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hertha 1969's Nils Hovermann was substituted for Gigel Elenescu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erling Lewandowski in the 79th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes Hertha 1969's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cássio Gonçalves who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Go Ahead Eagles's corner Cássio Gonçalves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rune Jarstein quite easily take care of the ball. Nils Hovermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Scarafia Ghost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Lewandowski in the 92nd minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
