Spectators: 190 (Terracing: 143, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Garth Brough made the kick off which started today's match. Australian Youth Academy's Gabriel Martini got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tom Riddle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Lindell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilbert Lindell hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Garth Brough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Virgo Penc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garth Brough in the 12th minute. Australian Youth Academy's Tom Riddle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henri-Patrick Grocholski in the 17th minute of play. Virgo Penc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Brough in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Lindell came free, but Tom Riddle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garth Brough received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Virgo Penc came out and tried to block the shot, but Garth Brough slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 24th minute. When Hermengildo Mambru came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Australian Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Mambru couldn't finish the play. Virgo Penc was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Garth Brough capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Garth Brough really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. 39 minutes into the game, Sven-Oskar Rocheleau threw the ball into play from the sideline. Australian Youth Academy's Rufus Roach quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Garth Brough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Garth Brough recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Öberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Victor Nyström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Riddle having to interfere. Virgo Penc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garth Brough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgo Penc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ellis Hoskin, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Virgo Penc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garth Brough in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Garth Brough left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Australian Youth Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 73 minutes into the game, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgo Penc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 80 minutes into the match, Garth Brough had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgo Penc. Ghost Hunters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Garth Brough was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After a rather tough play, Australian Youth Academy's Hermengildo Mambru got a free kick in the 85th minute. Henri-Patrick Grocholski hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 91 minutes of play, Australian Youth Academy's Ellis Hoskin made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgo Penc was left in no man's land by his defense there! Virgo Penc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garth Brough's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Australian Youth Academy's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
