Luganeros AFC's Samuel Olayo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Murillo Cordeiro, made in the 34th minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, Chen Peng Bin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of São Paulo F.C.'s Tiago Godoi. Luganeros AFC made a substitution. Artemio Argoitz replaced Gary Bale. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artemio Argoitz to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Luganeros AFC's Tiago Godoi threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rey Ronaldo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tiago Godoi came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Luganeros AFC's Rey Ronaldo. But to his dismay, Rey Ronaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Joe Kimutai hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The São Paulo F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Luganeros AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
