Rafael Favoretto made in the 11th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Váldson Silveira however managed to control. In the 13thth minute of the game Bernardo Novaes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Simão Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Rafael Favoretto threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lex Academy's Fausto Castulo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Simão Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Simão Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Novaes in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miloslav Krupička in the 19th minute of play forced ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s goalkeeper Simão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score was now 3-0. 35 minutes in the game Rafael Favoretto did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Váldson Silveira. In the 37th minute, Lex Academy's Bernardo Novaes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. 40 minutes into the match, Bernardo Novaes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simão Cunha. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardo Novaes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Novaes to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Lex Academy's Bernardo Novaes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simão Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. When Bernardo Novaes came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Lex Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Novaes couldn't finish the play. Lex Academy made a substitution. Mojmír Houška replaced Leoš Dočkal. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Simão Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miloslav Krupička in the 58th minute of play. Simão Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. When Lex Academy's Bernardo Novaes in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s goalie prevented a goal. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roman Jursa was slow to take the kick. During this time Lex Academy's players had a chance to rest. 90 minutes into the match, Lex Academy's Bernardo Novaes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simão Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Simão Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miloslav Krupička in the 92nd minute of the match. If Miloslav Krupička had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Bernardo Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lex Academy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
