After 3 minutes, Jay-Jay Struwe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DJK Füchtel Vechta and the Glyka Nera FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes DJK Füchtel Vechta got a freekick which was hit by Jay-Jay Struwe. Stig-Inge Nymoen struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Gerold Zollt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glyka Nera FC. During the 8th minute of the match Jay-Jay Struwe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jay-Jay Struwe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 14th minute, Ovidiu Poenaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Glyka Nera FC's Güven Çırakoğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerold Zollt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Gerold Zollt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güven Çırakoğlu in the 19th minute of play. Stig-Inge Nymoen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narciso Eusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidiu Poenaru in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ovidiu Poenaru in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Eusko saved Glyka Nera FC from getting behind. In the 27th minute, Güven Çırakoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Güven Çırakoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerold Zollt. DJK Füchtel Vechta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Güven Çırakoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Güven Çırakoğlu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Gerold Zollt 34 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ovidiu Poenaru to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, DJK Füchtel Vechta's goal looked a bit too open when Kostas Teneketzis came free, but Gerold Zollt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerold Zollt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostas Teneketzis in the 56th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig-Inge Nymoen in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerold Zollt saved DJK Füchtel Vechta from getting behind. In the 63rd minute Stig-Inge Nymoen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerold Zollt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Omiros Kazanis fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glyka Nera FC's protests and gave Omiros Kazanis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of DJK Füchtel Vechta booed when Glyka Nera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omiros Kazanis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Galvão hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 74 played minutes, Glyka Nera FC's Kostas Teneketzis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gerold Zollt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Glyka Nera FC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Güven Çırakoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glyka Nera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Güven Çırakoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerold Zollt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the game, Theo Wasmeier threw the ball into play from the sideline. Glyka Nera FC's Omiros Kazanis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gerold Zollt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güven Çırakoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st match minute, DJK Füchtel Vechta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Terstappen to maneuver through the defense. Kostas Teneketzis's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Gerold Zollt - 4-0 was put on the score board in the 92nd minute. Gerold Zollt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güven Çırakoğlu in the 96th minute of play. Glyka Nera FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
