Gerold Zollt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xie Cheng Xiao in the 12th minute of the match. Bernhardt Reshauge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidiu Poenaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, DJK Füchtel Vechta's goal looked a bit too open when Xie Cheng Xiao came free, but Gerold Zollt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Fc Schönhagen got a corner. DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fc Schönhagen's attentive Baldovino Argos managed to snatch the ball when Mauro Galvão made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. In the 44th minute, Mauro Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loris Groß fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerold Zollt having to interfere. After the first half Fc Schönhagen were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ovidiu Poenaru was the one to do the kick off. If Xie Cheng Xiao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xie Cheng Xiao got free with Gerold Zollt in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fc Schönhagen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mauro Galvão was slow to take the kick. During this time DJK Füchtel Vechta's players had a chance to rest. Junior Grajdeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Fc Schönhagen's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidiu Poenaru came free, but Bernhardt Reshauge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fc Schönhagen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
