In the 21st minute, Reynaldo Merexildo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Eusko was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Żurawski in the 24th minute of play forced Club Atletico Juanita's goalkeeper Danijel Subašić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
