RED SHARK FC's Darso Amiruddin got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Pasha Dewantara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RED SHARK FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jenipapo SC the free kick. In the 19th minute, Pasha Dewantara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theo Tauhid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Alagoano in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of RED SHARK FC booed when Jenipapo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Kämpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theo Tauhid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Junior in the 27th minute of the match. RED SHARK FC's Theo Tauhid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Pena.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aníbal Alagoano to make the kick off. Theo Tauhid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theo Tauhid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aníbal Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 81st minute.
