The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Victorino Lazcano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Purple Talents fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Grêmio Bulls's Henrique Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Lazcano in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Victorino Lazcano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purple Talents's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Lazcano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorino Lazcano in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrique Prata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 37 minutes Grêmio Bulls's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yu Cheng Kang who took care of the corner kick. 41 minutes into the match, Grêmio Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Lazcano came free, but Henrique Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willem-Jan Villyn hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Purple Talents's zone, Sebastião Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaan Snow came out of the goal and Sebastião Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rowen Doherty made a kick off. Purple Talents's Kaan Snow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rowen Doherty in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Purple Talents's goalkeeper Kaan Snow, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yu Cheng Kang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. But to his dismay, Victorino Lazcano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Yu Cheng Kang hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, one of Purple Talents:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Purple Talents. In the 74th minute Rowen Doherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaan Snow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josef Wortelers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Prata having to interfere. Henrique Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Lazcano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
