Kaan Snow stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Muhammet Ökten's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. If Victorino Lazcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute Victorino Lazcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Bihar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaan Snow made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carolo Senio in the 41st minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carolo Senio to make the kick off.
