An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Pacheco in the 12th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Mauri Tervo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauri Tervo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alperen Öksüz went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Silva in the 23rd minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Mauri Tervo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kustaa Esala got free with Jeremy Nicholas in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alperen Öksüz came free, but Mauri Tervo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauri Tervo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Pacheco in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Edgardo Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Mauri Tervo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teuvo Latvanen was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kustaa Esala in the 51st minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Silva came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mauri Tervo could save by the left post. After 57 minutes of play, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauri Tervo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Liverpool FC's Mikko Koivuranta got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 62 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Mikko Koivuranta. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kustaa Esala in the 65th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Alperen Öksüz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mauri Tervo. That made the score 0-7 in the 73 minute of play. When New England Minas's Tony Pacheco in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alperen Öksüz was slow to take the kick. During this time New England Minas's players had a chance to rest. Mauri Tervo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tony Pacheco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 85 minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Tio Lio made a precise shot to the right of Mauri Tervo. Liverpool FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. New England Minas played a much better game than Liverpool FC and deserved their victory. The Liverpool FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
