Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony Pacheco in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liam Edmunds prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Real Chelsea's Liam Edmunds played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Silva in the 9th minute of play. The Real Chelsea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Liam Edmunds should have stopped the shot. Liam Edmunds made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Pacheco in the 21st minute of play. Liam Edmunds showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alperen Öksüz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Tony Pacheco notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Real Chelsea's Liam Edmunds. Liam Edmunds was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 42 minutes Real Chelsea's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jörgen Frohm who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on New England Minas's corner Jörgen Frohm fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Liam Edmunds quite easily take care of the ball. Real Chelsea's Liam Edmunds played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Pacheco in the 44th minute of play. Alperen Öksüz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Silva was the one to do the kick off.
