After 15 minutes of play, Team Rocco's Joel Lundström made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Paulo Urbano was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, S.C. Reis United's João Paulo Urbano got control of the ball when Göran Unesson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodriguinho Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ralf Vase had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute Team Rocco were awarded a corner. Ralf Vase went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Göran Unesson got free with João Paulo Urbano in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. S.C. Reis United's João Paulo Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Lundström in the 29th minute of play. Natanael Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Natanael Maranhense hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. S.C. Reis United's João Paulo Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Lundström in the 36th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Team Rocco's João Paulo Urbano threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Lundström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodriguinho Reis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Fabinho Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Lundström scored 3-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Paulo Urbano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. João Paulo Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Unesson in the 59th minute of the match. Paulo Renato Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 65 minutes, Göran Unesson made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. S.C. Reis United's João Paulo Urbano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. João Paulo Urbano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Göran Unesson went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 74 minutes into the match, Tony Strandberg notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of S.C. Reis United's João Paulo Urbano. João Paulo Urbano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Team Rocco's Joel Lundström got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Paulo Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Unesson in the 76th minute of play. After 77 minutes, Amadeu Negri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C. Reis United and the Team Rocco players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th match minute, S.C. Reis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Negri to maneuver through the defense. When Alberto Guimarães fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C. Reis United's protests and gave Alberto Guimarães a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Team Rocco booed when S.C. Reis United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Paulo Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Vase, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Rodriguinho Reiss short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Sven-Edvin Mårtensson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the S.C. Reis United defense, Göran Unesson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Paulo Urbano. The S.C. Reis United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Paulo Urbano should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Vincent Olofsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Paulo Urbano was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. After a defensive mix-up in S.C. Reis United's zone, Tony Strandberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Paulo Urbano came out of the goal and Tony Strandberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to S.C. Reis United getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Paulo Renato Trevisan hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Göran Unesson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Lundström in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Paulo Urbano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Team Rocco's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
