With an extended leg and a bit of luck Izydor Birkenhagen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José San Martín received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Izydor Birkenhagen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Izydor Birkenhagen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lasse Delvig, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Yara Poland's Mieszko Zurawski got a free kick in the 28th minute.
