Armando Bonelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Talha Özakan in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Talha Özakan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sorci Viola's Armando Bonelli. Armando Bonelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Armando Bonelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Talha Özakan in the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Talha Özakan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Talha Özakan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Sorci Viola booed when C.A.River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otsoa Perojo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arturo Di Sipio to make the kick off. C.A.River Plate's Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Di Sipio in the 51st minute of play. Armando Bonelli made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Talha Özakan sent off a good shot on target. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arturo Di Sipio's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. C.A.River Plate's Matai Aranzabal got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Loreto in the 64th minute of the match. Armando Bonelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Talha Özakan in the 71st minute. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Meo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The throw-in from Carlo De Luca in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A.River Plate's Veto Pañeda. In the 92nd minute, Cesare Loreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Cesare Loreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sorci Viola's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesare Loreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
