Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Albano Aurken got the match started through his kick off. C. A. Independiente's Truman Cooley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Aurken in the 6th minute of play. Truman Cooley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Endura in the 7th minute of play. Julian Dillard hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Truman Cooley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Arotza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, C. A. Independiente's Julian Dillard got a free kick in the 16th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Bob Griffith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bob Griffith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Independiente's zone, Victoriano Cibran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Truman Cooley came out of the goal and Victoriano Cibran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32 played minutes C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Moses Donahue. 36 minutes in the game Fernando Eladio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Victoriano Cibran. Victoriano Cibran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bob Griffith in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Licerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julian Dillard's late challenge caught a Sporting Club Victoria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Dillard helped the player get up and apologised. Julian Dillard kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Victoriano Cibran struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Truman Cooley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Club Victoria. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Dillard to strike the kick off in the second half. Hernan Licerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Dillard, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The supporters of C. A. Independiente booed when Sporting Club Victoria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Cibran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Licerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Griffith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Cibran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Truman Cooley having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Sporting Club Victoria's Truman Cooley threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albano Aurken, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hernan Licerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Griffith in the 62nd minute of the match. After taking down the ball on C. A. Independiente's corner Gilbert Guzman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hernan Licerio quite easily take care of the ball. In the 64th match minute, C. A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Farris to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinand Bauer's late challenge caught a Sporting Club Victoria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinand Bauer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Ferdinand Bauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C. A. Independiente's Moses Donahue got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Moses Donahue off the ground. After a rather tough play, C. A. Independiente's Moses Donahue got a free kick in the 77th minute. C. A. Independiente's Truman Cooley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Independiente from getting a goal against them. C. A. If Arnoldo Arotza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A throw-in in the 88th minute of the game was made by Fernando Eladio with Albano Aurken as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Artemio Ixaka kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sporting Club Victoria players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
